Create Your Path Workshop 1: Resources, Experiences
Objective: In this introductory module, students will identify experiences and resources they have leveraged thus far in their academic, professional, and personal lives. Students will be introduced to the innovation process by reflecting on the building blocks of specific resources, followed by experiences.

Objective: In this workshop, students will learn the cycle of the Hero’s Journey and apply it to a key experience they have had, gaining insight into the path they have taken.

Create Your Path Workshop 3: Strengths, Passionate Interests
Objective: In this workshop, students will utilize reflection of the micro and macro to gain insight into the skills they have, the values they hold dear, and the passionate interests that engage them. Students will zoom in on a key experience to appreciate the lessons to be learned from it, then step back to look at the big picture. Finally, students will focus on a path guided by their strengths and passionate interests.

Create Your Path Workshop 4: Artifacts, Specific Strengths-Interests-Values
Objective: In this workshop, students identify an artifact that symbolizes their strengths and passionate interests. Students will develop meaning, understanding, focus, and the potential to leverage those strengths and passionate interests that make them unique and learn how to communicate their potential.
Create Your Path Workshop 5: Envision, Challenge, Questions
Objective: In this workshop, students will identify an area of focus and develop their path based on their findings from the previous workshops. Focusing on the future, students will start applying a system of innovation in order to create their vision of the future, engaging in a strategic process.

Create Your Path Workshop 6: Idea Generating
Objective: In this workshop, students will learn how to take their questions from Workshop 5 to the ideation stage of the innovation process. Students will engage in intentional, innovative thinking about their future, both immediately and long-term. Students will break down a big challenge into smaller ideas.

Create Your Path Workshop 7: Idea Analysis, Idea Synthesis, Concept Development
Objective: In this workshop, students will move from ideation to concept building by selecting the best ideas from their lists. Students will be guided through reconstruction of their ideas into better, more innovative concepts. Students will work toward a portfolio of valuable personal knowledge and creative assets.
Create Your Path Workshop 8: Selection, Concept Communication, Launch
Objective: In this workshop, students will learn how to test and select the best concepts to dedicate time to. Students will learn how to communicate and advance these concepts. Students will move from analyzed and synthesized concepts to a strategic plan for action that can be easily communicated.
